I have a problem that I'm thinking even Porsche haven't thought of.
We are currently having a plague of grasshoppers/locusts, and Christmas beetles (think Egypt scarab beetles). At 100 kph they make a nasty yellow mess and they hurt!
The difficulty is that at rest, the shutters are closed but I'm assuming at speed they are open and so the radiator is going to get clogged very quickly.
The question: is it possible to open the shutters and see what has happened to the radiator.

Run the car until it is fully warmed up and the shutters are open?

I'll see what happens. I suspect that if I try to wash the rubbish out it will cool the radiator and close them. I think the bumper has to come off and I'll have to fit screens- its about the only bit of the car I haven't removed yet.

Gosh what have you been doing to have removed everything else!!

There is certainly a good gap between the grill and louvres to do something - shocked there is not an option. Have you fitted a Roo gard?Wink

They definitely stay open sometimes after switching the engine off. No idea why, maybe just after a good spanking!
