I drove a 718 Boxster S around the PEC for 40 mins a few months back and it felt like a bit go kart. You can get in them and drive them quick straight away as they give you so much confidence. My only issue was the fact that after 40 mins I was happy to get out of it because I was getting bit of a headache because of the drone of the engine. I would have to drive one for a day in normal driving before I discounted one as you would rarely if ever drive for 40 mins in max attack on the road

The interior is lovely and I really like the shape of the Cayman. You are right in the fact that the previous gen caymans/boxster are holding value amazingly. GTS caymans that are 2/3 years old are still going for list price !!

i have to agree :( and during a road test I found the ride on 20" too harsh for me, I did ask it If put PASM on would it be better and the reply from service dept and sales was not really. Therefore I found the 718 did not suite and wanted something a bit more "refined" after the Macan and the reason i'm going for a 911.

May be i'm a bit too old for sporty cars :D its a young mans game

Yes collecting from Belfast - have to say Ben Simpson has been great - top man. Posted a video of our new car to look at which was great.

I think that a 911 can still be considered a sporty car, Spook ;)

We drove a 718S with PSE for a day while our 987S was in for a service. It is absolutely mental. Brilliant car but gave me a headache. We were happy to get back in the 987. I'd love a 981GTS but they are sill money still.
