If you don’t mind answering, how does sorting out a personalised number plate on a new car work? Did you have to tell the dealer in advance so they could notify the dvla? (I have got a Macan on order too that’s due in a couple of weeks)

Thanks guys - colour not an exact match (think one is classed as dark blue and the other night blue however it's as close as I could get without going PTS).

achilles8 - sorting out the plate was really simple - ordered the plate through the DVLA website and received the retention certificate through the post within about a week. Then it was just a case of letting the SE know at OPC and sending the certificate to them (best to send a scanned copy first before popping the original in the post, just in case) - They then made the plates up and were all on the car prior to them registering it on day of collection, ready for me to drive away.
