The sound of the Macans V6 engine sounds great (the video isn't clear as to whether we're listening to the 3.0-litre or the Turbo model's 3.6-litre engine though)

I'm also wanting the sports exhaust option, but there is no box to tick - yet?

I think sports exhaust is an option that way off sadly, maybe 11/14 I read. The Macan microsure has an engine audio clip in the gallery section if each if the 3 models now.....making me sway from diesel!

£1500 for sports exhaust on Cayman S. I'll use that towards a Turbo instead that I'm trying to justify in my own mind ðŸ˜œ

Ahh interesting my mistake thanks. Doubt I'd add Sport Chrono to the diesel, I might go to the S in an act of madness.

The Porsche website states the sports exhaust will be available from 11/2014.

There is talk that the '11' refers to week 11 rather than November, which would mean mid March.

Certainly worth hanging on for.

Just looked at the video again. The exhaust note doesn't change when driver puts into sports mode. But that Macan doesn't have the sports chrono pack.... Maybe the Autoexpress is right but rather than paying £1500 or so for the sports exhaust I may have to get a couple of GT3 mp3s to play through the stereo......

Looking forward to warching the Dakar. Would be interesting if Porsche went back into that again with a Macan version of the mental 959 rally car!
