I'm new to the forum, today, 13/09/18, but I have read previous posts on this forum re the leaking sunroof. I'm just wondering if anyone has any further info.
Hatfield PC have adjusted the mechanism in the past and now Exeter PC have had my 2015 Macan SD for nearly two weeks and are having trouble replicating what Mother Nature and the rain can do with consummate ease!
The drivers side footwell fills with water and previously posted pictures show where the water on my car also comes into the vehicle.
The wind deflector is wet and the channel fills with water so, has the mechanism been adjusted enough?
Did anyone out there previously own LM65GJV and fail to have the problem resolved?
Any new info greatly appreciated as I prefer my Macan to the loan Cayenne S. I want my car back.
Panoramic sunroof leak.
In answer to my own question, Exeter PC have just called to say they have found the leak around the area of the drain channel and that there is a modification to resolve the issue. Parts on order plus carpet, etc. Happy days and well done to Exeter Porsche Centre.
Welcome.
Surprizing it took Exeter so long, it is not the first time this fault has been posted within a Macan forum.

Hi there I’m sorry to read your post and you have exactly the same issues as my macan with a panoramic roof as it keeps leaking? It seems to me the wind deflector part fills with water and then that’s what causes the over spill into the car? I have taken mine to a Porsche specialist and I think I had more of an idea then them?! It seems reading up online it’s quiet common? Can you please inform what the part or modification is to resolve it for myself! I would be really grateful if you could advise if you found out what the solution was?
Danwiththemacan: you've picked up a two year old post from someone who posted twice on the forum and was never heard from again. I doubt you'll get an answer from him.
You might have more luck with a Porsche dealership than an independent specialist. Leaking sunroofs have been reported before and most of the time the problem seems to be with blocked drainage channels.

Thank you for the reply
I have checked drainage holes and are all clear. Also as it said above there was a part that was required and I was wondering what this would be? As my roof is doing exactly the same with the water leaking into the car through the wind deflector part? I have read other posts and everyone was unclear what the Solution was? And as said above this guy said a part is required. But yes I might be best with main dealer. Thank you
