Admittedly the boot is full but reckon I could get another large case in with the rear shelf removed if we wanted. How much more room do you need
We need room for 4 full sized hard cases and 4 carry-ons without folding any seats down. The Macan failed this test miserably. The only similar sized cars we tried that passed this test were the new Volvo XC60 and Discovery Sport. We certainly don't travel light though!

We’re all in the habit of packing far too much stuff. When you’re travelling by bike you soon learn to pack small. And as RuinAir keep piling on the rip-offs for luggage it’s surprising what you realise you can manage without!

Crikey, dunno what the heck you lot are packing but I've taken old mattresses to the tip, pushchairs and assorted baby stuff with no issue. Why would you buy a Macan in the first place if you were a wanting luggage space for a Bedouin?

Luggage expands to fill the available space. I'm normally one rucksack and what won't fit in stays at home.

This weekend it's drums, guitar, marmite, peanut butter, tea bags, endless clothes. We're off to Nice / Ardeche
to see the children and they've given a long list since we're not going Ryan Air.

It barely fits in the dining room let alone the car.

Ha ha, agree that the Macan will never carry that lot

I came from a Golf GTi as our family car for 5 years so perfected the ‘if it doesn’t fit, it doesn’t go’ way of packing. Hence why we find the Macan dimensions quite generous. Having said that, our daughter has just hit teenage and the makeup bag has grown exponentially 😀

Thanks for sharing, Hawkeye. Kind of makes me want to see what other Porsche stuff he’s done...

He did mention a GT3 in the video. Looks like he owns a nice Ferrari too.
