Nobody has ever said running a Porsche is a cheap activity
What you've been quoted is not a million miles for what I paid for those items. Changing brake fluid (needed every two years regardless of mileage) is on top of that.
If your car is no longer under any sort of Porsche warranty you could look at independents. Just bear in mind that the lack of continous Porsche servicing might have an effect when you come to sell the car.

Ask the Mechanic to show you his certification.
If he is an ex-Porsche dealer mech, he might be certified, but possibly on a previous model. Not a major issue, if he has access to the diagnostic system and manuals.

Changing brake fluid is a con. Brake fluid should be tested and changed if required not just because it two years old. Previous BMWs Audi’s and Merc did not need it.
Porsche rely on the fact that a lot of today’s drivers have never serviced a car and just believe everything they are told.
My SD will go to the local independent garage for the five year service, they already look after another Macan owner tired of being over charged

Is it possible to have the servicing done independently and maintain the warranty?
