Thanks all. Just wondering, what are the Porsche approved winter tyres for 21" wheels?
There aren’t any.
Thanks for the swift response! Interesting... looks like I have no choice but to stick with 20” turbos!
Some/many folks change wheels as well as tyres for winter. So you could have say 21” wheels with summer tyres, and a ‘winter set’ of say 18” wheels with winter tyres.

I run 20” wheels with summer tyres (just bought new set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres for these) and 19” wheels with winter tyres on my Carrera T. :geek:

Thank you for the suggestion.

I have thought about that too, but swapping out wheels simply isn’t going to be an option for me due to lack of storage space etc.

^^^ My OPC stores the wheels for me. There’s just a yearly charge for the swapping over.

From memory, the charge is £120 to £130 per year. That covers two swap overs, two days with a Porsche loan car and having the car cleaned on each occasion. My OPC has adequate room to store wheels on site. Other OPCs that don’t have room themselves may well charge an additional fee for storage at a Porsche ‘wheel/tyre hotel’. :geek:

That's actually not bad at all! Do you mind sharing which OPC this is?

Thank you!

^^^ It’s Tewkesbury OPC, but they might be doing me a bit of a favour at that price, as I bought the wheels & tyres from them, and I’ve bought two cars from them. Probably best to ring around your nearest OPCs.
