Had both replaced under warranty on my 2017 SD. Porsche Hull have been great since opening.

yes got it from OPC Edin but they had to order it in. They did offer to fit it (for free) but I did it myself. NB OPC Edin & OPC Glasgow are both owned by Sytner group so no point in playing one off against the other

That's interesting. Edinburgh have just told me: "Unfortunately the clips are not available separately, they only come as a full strut which wouldn’t be covered under the warranty as it’s just a visual defect."

When did you get the clips replaced?

Hull OPC opened for business on 22 Jan 2020 , so with lockdown a fairly narrow window of operation.

the rusty one I removed was still very strong and not brittle and the rust was just surface rust so an option would be to remove it and sand off the rust, apply some rustolene and paint it with some satin black. Less hassle than phone calls to OPC etc etc

Flip them off. Sand down and then Hammerite will do it:

and AFTER

N.B. not my Macan - a friend's 2017 Macan

Would you be kind enough to post the part number on here in case any of us need it in future.
